I am a Mental Health Counselor practicing in the center of Edmonds, Washington. If you are exploring this webpage, you may be facing a health hardship, coming to terms with change or loss, coping with grief, or looking for growth and healing in some area of your life. I have prepared this website so that you will have a better understanding of who I am as a counselor, the work I do best, and other important information about my services. Counseling Services:
My services are designed to help you find your way through the sometimes unfamiliar and often frightening territory of loss, change, and challenge. My specialized interests and training include:
- Coping with anxiety or depression
- Recovering from a sudden and traumatic loss
- Coping with a health challenge - a life limiting diagnosis, chronic illness, treatment hardship or lifestyle change
- Managing a life transition - job loss, retirement, geographical move, separation or divorce
- Grieving the loss of a loved one
- Exploring questions of meaning and purpose
- Improving relationships
- Understanding spiritual growth and development
- Reclaiming hope and quality of life
If you are feeling hopeless or overwhelmed by life experiences, I offer a place to step back from the rushed pace of life in order to reflect and ask questions, a place to explore resistance, even a place to not know the way forward. Here, there is permission to discover the path ahead, to learn as you go along without the burdens of critical self-judgment.
